How I Help Destination Wedding Couples

Planning a destination wedding comes with a lot of moving pieces, especially when you’re coordinating travel for family and friends. Between choosing the right destination, comparing resorts, answering guest questions, and keeping track of deadlines, it’s easy to feel like you’re taking on a second full-time job.

My role is to simplify that process. I’ll help you narrow down the options, explain what sets each resort apart, and guide you through the travel planning side of your wedding so you can make informed decisions without feeling overwhelmed. From our first conversation until your guests arrive, you’ll have someone in your corner to keep everything organized and moving forward.

Travel Support for You and Your Guests

Your guests should feel just as supported as you do. When everyone knows what to expect and has someone to turn to with questions, the entire experience runs more smoothly.

When you work with me, I’ll help with:

  • Finding the destination and resort that best fit your vision, guest list, and budget
  • Comparing resort options so you can make a confident decision
  • Coordinating guest reservations and managing travel logistics
  • Answering guest questions before they travel
  • Keeping everyone informed of important dates, deadlines, and next steps
  • Providing support before, during, and after your wedding travel

This lets you spend less time answering travel questions and more time enjoying your engagement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge a destination wedding planning fee?

Yes. Destination wedding travel planning begins at $250 when air arrangements are not included. If I’m also managing flights for your wedding group, there will be an additional fee of $50 per person. For very small wedding groups, exceptions may be made depending on the trip.

When should we start planning our destination wedding?

The earlier, the better. Most couples begin planning 12–18 months before their wedding date. Starting early gives you the best selection of resorts, room categories, and travel options while giving your guests plenty of time to plan and budget.

Can you help our guests book their travel?

Absolutely. I’ll assist your guests with their reservations, answer their travel questions, and help keep everyone informed throughout the planning process so you’re not fielding every travel-related question yourself.

Can you help us choose the right destination and resort?

Yes. I’ll take the time to learn about your vision, guest list, budget, and priorities before recommending destinations and resorts that are the best fit. I’ll also explain the differences between your options so you can make a confident decision.

Do you only work with large destination weddings?

Not at all. I work with weddings of all sizes, from intimate celebrations with close family and friends to larger wedding groups. Every couple receives the same personalized guidance and support throughout the planning process.

What happens after we reach out?

We’ll start by talking about your wedding vision, preferred destinations, guest count, budget, and travel priorities. From there, I’ll research your best-fit options, present recommendations, and guide you through each step of the planning and booking process.

Will you still be available after everyone is booked?

Yes. My support doesn’t end once reservations are made. I’ll continue helping with important travel reminders, guest questions, and any unexpected issues that may come up before or during your destination wedding.
